Kata orang jatuh cinta itu mawar
Yang semerbak
Di tatap
Di rasa
Serta di pandang

Kata orang mawar itu simbol
Simbol cinta bagi siperasa

Merah merona
Cerah mencipitkan mata

Ada dua kemungkinan
Diberi mawar yang harum
Atau bahkan diberi mawar yang kecut bau

Mencium aroma lavender
Atau mencium aroma sampah
Kau pilih mana ?
Aku harap yang pertama

Agar tak terasa duri yang mencekam
Duri yang menusuk tangan
